A Comparison of Two Methods



For larger jobs, we are moving away from hand-annotated elevations that merely locate, portray and describe faults or existing conditions in two dimensions to an embedded attribute tag containing:

• Type of material
• Class of fault
• Priority code
• Severity or dimension of fault
• Quantify the effected area
• Photo I.D. number
• Digital photograph, audio or video clip

We feel that the future lies in using the full version of AutoCAD directly on tablet computers in the field.
